Hook in 2 Hockey (Hi2H) is an initiative from Hockey Australia to provide an eight week introductory hockey program, typically for 5 to 12 year olds. More details can be found here on the HA website or by contacting Leesa Needham at juniors@temhockey.com.

For Term 1, TEM Hockey Club will be running a Hook In2 Hockey program on a Thursday afternoon at 5pm for 8 weeks from 21 Feb 2019. The program will be led by the TEM Coaching Director, Victor Romagosa and a team of talented and enthusiastic coaches.

If you would lie to register for the full program, click on the link below. The cost of the program is $85 and includes a participant pack (stick, ball, bag, shinguards). Alternatively, just come along to the first week which the club runs as a free come and try session.


What to expect:
Club coaching director Victor Romagosa will take participants through basic skills needed to play a game of hockey.  Each session will end with game based activities.  The emphasis is on fun and learning some skills to get started.

Who is it for:
Any beginners aged from 5-12

Venue:
H1 Hockey pitch, 482 Auburn Road, Hawthorn East

When:
Thursday 5-6pm, commencing 21 February

Equipment:
Sticks and shinguards supplied.  Wear football socks and runners if possible and participants MUST bring a mouthguard and drink bottle.
