ROUND TWO PREVIEW

The hockey year is well and truly under way! There were plenty of encouraging signs from Round 1 with 3 wins across the board and plenty of narrow draws and losses.

Performance of the week: Men’s Pennant A is refreshed and revamped for the 2015 season, after an underwhelming 2014. They began in style with a tough win away to Altona at the notorious ‘snakepit’. Not an easy feat!

This weekend, we have a MASSIVE home day on Saturday with all of our top teams at home playing Kew. Although it’s early on in the season, there are vital points up for grabs for both of our WPL and MVL1 teams looking to rebound from Round 1. The music will be pumping, so let’s join in on the great vibe to set up a real home ground advantage for TEMHC.

Milestones: Adam Bailey (MVL1) – 200 games.

Braden Pitcher (MVL1) will hopefully play a little more by the book against tough rivals Kew this weekend.

Round 2 Fixtures:

MEN:

MVL1 (9th) vs Kew (6th) | Sat 25th April | 3:30pm @ H1

A really tightly contested match last week against Geelong saw the opposition take the most of their chances and walk away with a 1-0 win. Kew is also coming off a tight match that went down to the death against Brunswick, drawing 4-4. There should be nothing in this match come Saturday as the boys look to take down last years finalists.
