WEEKLY PREVIEW #7

Did someone say live stream?

This Sunday, for the first time in our clubs proud history, our top womens and mens teams will be broadcast live online to destinations all over the world.

But that doesn’t mean we want you to stay at home on Sunday! Make sure YOU get around the event. With the usual BBQ & Music combo, help create one of the best atmospheres to showcase how great our club truly is to the broader hockey community. Wear all of your club gear and join in the festivities!

Only 2 days left until our first ever live stream down at H1

The broadcast will start live online from 1pm. There will be pre-game and post-match interviews, with U10 and U12 quarter pitch matches between the games. Our WPLR kick off the day at 11:50am, before our WPL girls are live streamed from 1:30pm vs MCC. Our kids will then hit the pitch, before our MVL1 look to continue their momentum vs the top of the table Melbourne University. It will be a good test to see where the boys are at heading into the bye next round.

The live stream will then conclude, but the action continues! Our MVL1R hit the pitch from 5pm before our WMA play under the lights from 6:30pm. And don’t forget about our MPA blokes playing on H2 at 2pm.

If you can't be there - watch it live through the following link: http://www.temhockey.com/live

Our juniors are mainly hitting the road this round, with our U12 Leopards and Pumas taking centre stage from 8:15am Saturday on H1 if you are brave! #gotem

Performance of the week: Belongs to the U16G Shield team! After a tough start to the year, the girls responded strongly last Friday to smash Southern United 5-2 and sing the club song for the first time. They will look to keep their momentum up this round vs Gippsland Bulls.

Round 7 Senior Fixtures:

MEN

MVL1 (6th) vs MUHC (1st) | Sun 31st May | 3:30pm @ H1

The boys are coming off a tremendous win against the odds last weekend vs Mentone, but this week is their toughest match of the year to date. Melbourne Uni are undefeated after 6 rounds and the early favourites for PL promotion. The competition could not be tighter, with only 1 point separating 2nd from 6th on the ladder. Come down on Sunday to see if they can claw their way into the top 4!

MVL1R (6th) vs MUHC (3rd) | Sun 31st May | 5:00pm @ H1

MPA (6th) vs Camberwell (1st) | Sun 31st May | 2:00pm @ H2

MPC (8th) vs Southern United (10th) | Sat 30th May | 12:30pm @ MBN

MMB (1st) vs Maccabi(2) (3rd) | Sun 31st May | 12:30pm @ APK

WOMEN

WPL (11th) vs MCC (8th) | Sun 31st May | 1:30pm @ H1

The ladies are building some good momentum over the last few weeks with competitive losses to some gun teams, but this week they look to translate that into a deserved victory. There is still a log jam towards the tail end of the WPL ladder with 3 teams on 3 points, so the girls will look to gain some breathing space and draw level with MCC heading into the bye next week.

WPLR (10th) vs MCC (2nd) | Sun 31st May | 11:50am @ H1

WPB (5th) vs MCC (2nd) | Sun 31st May | 2:00pm @ MHS

WPC (8th) vs MCC (3rd) | Sun 31st May | 3:30pm @ MHS

WMA (9th) vs Powerhouse/St Kilda (8th) | Sun 31st May | 6:30pm @ H1
