WEEKLY PREVIEW #10

What a week it has been!

Thanks again must be said to all those that helped organize the iPod Shuffle social function last Saturday night, all of the attendees (both young and old) had an amazing time and boogied well into the night! We look forward to the next TEM function. Head on over to our Facebook page for lots of photos and videos from both on and off the ground over the last week.

Tonight, we have H1 fully booked out with junior teams playing from 6:30-10pm! For most other junior/senior teams, it is road trip after road trip playing at venues from as far as Mornington to Greensborough!

Our MVL1 look to find their mojo again after a few sub-par performances against Mornington, whilst WPL look to continue the momentum against Camberwell after a stunning victory over Kew last night!

Our WPL girls celebrate their awesome victory last night!

Good luck to you all this weekend! Send us through photos/videos/results. #gotem

Performance of the week: Goes to our WPL girls for pulling out one of their most gutsy performances of the year to run over the top of Kew 2-1 and gain some breathing space. Thanks to the crowd that came along!

Round 10 Senior Fixtures:

MEN

MVL1 (4th) vs Mornington Peninsula (12th) | Sat 27th June | 3:30pm @ PHC

A very scratchy performance last week saw the MVL1 boys scrape out a 1-0 win, not capitalizing on their forward penetrations. This week, they return to the scene of much heartbreak down the Eastlink, as they take on Mornington at the Peninsula Hockey Centre this Saturday. The boys conceded 6 goals there not so long ago in a loss to Frankston, and will be looking to atone and cement their spot in the top 4.

MVL1R (3rd) vs Mornington Peninsula (8th) | Sat 27th June | 5:00pm @ PHC

MPA (9th) vs Altona (7th) | Sat 27th June | 12:30pm @ S1

MPC (9th) vs Mentone (2nd) | Sat 27th June | 12:30pm @ MNT

MMB (1st) vs MHSOB (5th) | Sun 28th June | 6:30pm @ H2

WOMEN

WPL (9th) vs Camberwell (6th) | Sat 27th June | 2:00pm @ CAM

The WPL girls continue in their insanely busy schedule, with a third match within a week against Camberwell this Saturday. At a rowdy State Hockey Centre last night, the girls pulled off a crucial win over Kew to pull clear from them on the table by 7 points just over halfway through the season. Let’s see if the girls can recover in time to challenge Camberwell away tomorrow.

WPLR (10th) vs Camberwell (4th) | Sat 27th June | 12:30pm @ CAM

WPB (5th) vs Greensborough (7th) | Sat 27th June | 12:30pm @ GRN2

WPC (8th) vs Hawthorn (5th) | Sat 27th June | 5:00pm @ H2
