This weekend is one to celebrate, with the round being dedicated all throughout Victoria to the Fair Go Sport! Initiative.

We love taking part in this great initiative to promote the importance of sexual and gender diversity, whilst ensuring that we take part in a safe, welcoming and inclusive sport.

Let's get around the Fair Go Sport! round!

With that being said, come down on Sunday to join in the celebrations in a big home day at TEM! There will be SIX of our senior teams in action across both fields from 12:30-6:30, so action a plenty for all! The BBQ is set to go off with music pumping away in the background, so pop on by to check it out. Our MVL1 team will be playing at 3:30pm on H1 vs Mentone, another clash between two sides battling it out for finals. Meanwhile, our WPL girls head out to MCC in what is sure to be another tight clash, with nothing separating them on the ladder.

Hope everyone gets out there and enjoys the hockey this weekend, there’s not many of them left for the 2015 season! #gotem

Performance of the week: Women’s Premier League (vs Waverley). The girls played for the full 70 minutes in their most complete performance of the season, smashing the Panthers 5-1.

Round 15 Senior Fixtures:

MVL1 (3rd) vs Mentone (4th) | Sun 2nd August | 3:30pm @ H1

It’s a real sense of déjà vu for the MVL1 boys this week, as it’s a battle of 3rd vs 4th on the table. The men have passed their first tests with flying colours after solid wins over MUHC and Yarra, but Mentone will be equally as desperate to sew up a finals berth just behind the TEM boys on the table. There is no room for complacency here with only 4 rounds left in the season, so get down to see if the boys can continue their momentum against a solid Mentone Panthers outfit.

MVL1R (2nd) vs Mentone (4th) | Sun 2nd August | 5:00pm @ H1

MPA (7th) vs Hawthorn (4th) | Sun 2nd August | 2:00pm @ H1

MPC (8th) vs Kew (7th) | Sun 2nd August | 12:30pm @ H1

WPL (9th) vs MCC (10th) | Sun 2nd August | 2:00pm @ MHS

It’s been another hectic week of hockey for our top females, as they obliterated Waverley 5-1 in their best performance of the season last Saturday, before being humbled by Essendon Ladies in a 0-3 loss last night. This Sunday, they play their 3rd match within 8 days against a proud MCC outfit. The WPL ladies held on for the win last outing against MCC in the Live Stream round, so the ‘Demons’ will have revenge on their mind whilst trying to leapfrog TEM on the ladder. Let’s hope this doesn’t eventuate!
