WEEKLY PREVIEW #16

Tick tock, tick tock.

The clock is slowly winding down on season 2015, and there are only 3 regular season matches left to go for all teams! That means that now is a better time than ever to get out there and support the club, as there are only a few chances left to do so for this year!

For the juniors, there is another big home night at TEM with all bar one of our Friday night teams in action across H1/2. The U16 and both U14 mixed teams have vital clashes as they look to qualify for finals action.

There is also another big senior day at home for us on Sunday, with 4 straight matches on H1 from 11am. There are further crunch clashes here that will have ramifications for both finals and the battle to avoid relegation.

For our top teams, they are both playing away from home. MVL1 will have revenge on their minds as they tackle Brunswick away from home at 2pm, whilst the WPL girls look to get back on the winners list against Footscray from 3:30pm.

George Hurley and his MVL1 team mates will be looking for revenge against Brunswick this Saturday.

See you all out and about. Not long to go now! #gotem

Performance of the week: The Men’s Metro boys rebounded in a big way from their loss in the previous round to completely outclass Powerhouse/St Kilda 5-0 away from home. Hopefully they can continue this form heading into finals!

MEN

MVL1 (3rd) vs Brunswick (10th) | Sat 8th August | 2:00pm @ BRU

The boys know all too well how damaging Brunswick can be, and after a terrific stretch against 3 finals contenders they can ill afford a let-down performance. The last times the sides clashed was at TEM only 5 weeks ago, and Brunswick completely outplayed our boys in a 4-1 loss to VL1. With only 3 rounds left in the year for our girls, they will be looking to finish it off in style!
