We have finalised the details of the TEM summer program of activities for 2023.  There are a number of programs, tailored to meet all age groups from U10 to 60+.  The most exciting thing is that all competitions, with the exception of indoor, will again be at H1/H2 this season so we’re looking forward to increased take-up from all our players.

As you can appreciate, a lot of work goes into these activities and we need some offers of help in coordinating programs, registrations, etc to make sure everything ticks over nicely and that players have a dedicated contact.  It’s not hard, and will be very rewarding and heaps of fun, so if you are interested in helping out, please contact one of the club VPs.

HV Outdoor registration - If you played at another club over the winter, we can arrange a dual registration, and if you did not play you will need to purchase a Hockey Victoria off-season membership

  • HV Summer/Indoor Levy (18 & under)- $52.50

  • HV Summer/Indoor Levy (19 & over)- $65.50

The programs and a brief description are:

1. Outdoor intraclub

TEM’s summer challenge is here again and we are looking for everyone’s support as teams battle it out for supreme bragging rights that last, at least, until pre season!  This competition builds connections and friendships between players of all grades, encourages juniors playing with seniors, welcomes new players, fitness, umpire development and fun!

It is aimed at men and women from all grades, junior boys and girls aged 15 and older. Teams are mixed between boys and girls.

Dates:     Oct 5th to Nov 16th

2. Junior Indoor

An excellent way to improve fitness and stick skills because of its intensity and the small indoor space.  The ball cannot be raised except for a shot at goal, and boards are used to keep the ball in play.  Age groups are mixed in U12, U14, U16 and U18 with TEM also fielding U12 and U14 girls teams.

Who for:  anyone who has played season 2023 on the field is encouraged to give indoor a try.

Hockey Victoria is continuing to run its main indoor competition this year at State Netball & Hockey Centre at Parkville. This will enable full 6-a-side indoor to be played on a full sized pitch for the Shield Competitions.

For many years, TEM has also welcomed Juniors to our indoor ranks who play winter competitions for other clubs and we will do the same this year.

We have entered the following teams:

  • U12 Mixed Shield

  • U12 Girls

  • U14 Mixed Pennant

  • U14 Girls

  • U16 Mixed Shield
